MATCHA ICED LATTE #drinks #matchalatte

Now and then when I use matcha… .really, make that ALL the time, I ask myself: "Am I being fundamental?" The appropriate response may be yes. I'm not totally beyond any doubt. Yet, my unreliable self comes back to it on numerous occasions since it's DELICIOUS!

What's more, it's so lovely. Also, it tastes extraordinary. So I surmise the appropriate response is that I may be fundamental. Also, matcha may be exaggerated. Be that as it may, who cares. Popular things are possibly weak in the event that they just sorta taste great. (Likewise: to many individuals, matcha isn't stylish—it's been around for a considerable length of time. What's more, to them, whatever is left of the world is simply late.) There is another matcha bar that moved into my neighborhood and it's so great yet most days I don't have a craving for driving not far off so all things being equal I like to make a my own rendition at home.

You put a couple of teaspoons of matcha powder in an estimating container and include a couple of tablespoons of heated water. Whisk it until the matcha has broken down and after that you pour in the rest of the water and whisk some more. I exchange it to the ice chest or cooler to chill for around 15 minutes. I realize the cooling part is a drag however it enables a mess at last to result. After the matcha is cooled, I include an absurd measure of ice to a glass, empty the almond milk into the glass, a sprinkle of basic syrup and after that pour in the matcha.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Ice
  • Milk of choice, I used almond milk

Directions

  1. In a measuring cup or bowl, add the matcha powder. Pour in the 1 to 2 tablespoons of hot water and whisk until the matcha has fully incorporated into the water. This should create almost a bit of a paste.
  2. Pour in the remaining 1 cup of water and mix. Transfer to the fridge or freezer to chill for about 15 minutes.
  3. Fill two glasses full of ice and add your milk of choice so the glass is about 3/4 of the way full. If you like, this is a great time to add any simple syrup. Lastly, pour in the chilled matcha and stir.
